Location:  Columbia Area Career Center (CACC), 4203 South Providence Road, Room 173B (large conference room).  Dinner to be provided by award winning CACC Culinary Art students.

Program:  Martha Dragich, James S. Rollins Professor of Law, MU

Professor Dragich has a degree in agricultural and food law and teaches a course in food law and policy.  She is a passionate cook and supporter of local foods.  Among other topics, she will discuss food-labeling issues, particularly ways in which labels may be misleading in terms of health and nutrition or fail to provide relevant information about how our foods have been produced.

A brief business meeting will follow the talk.  Please bring a friend and books for the book sale table.
