Leadership development.
AAUW’s leadership development program gives you an opportunity to hone your personal and professional leadership skills. Take advantage of our leadership library– and consider serving on an AAUW local, state, regional, and national boards, committees, and panels.
Educational opportunities.
AAUW offers educational programs that promote gender, race, and class equity and help you develop your professional and personal skills. Programs are offered at conventions, in interactive workshops, in print, and online.
Who Can Join?
If you hold an associate or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you are eligible to join AAUW. If you are an undergraduate in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution, or graduate student, you can join as a student affiliate.
Dues
Yearly dues
Yearly dues are $90, divided as follows: $72 to Association, $10 to AAUW-Missouri and $8 to the Columbia, MO Branch.
Life membership in the Association
Life membership is available. Contact AAUW.org, Membership or the branch Membership Vice-President. A member who has paid Association dues for 50 years shall become a 50-year Honorary Life Member (must make application to national) and shall thereafter be exempt from the payment of dues.

According to the IRS, $69 of AAUW national individual membership dues are tax deductible. Missouri state and Columbia branch dues are not tax deductible.
