Leadership development.

AAUW’s leadership development program gives you an opportunity to hone your personal and professional leadership skills. Take advantage of our leadership library– and consider serving on an AAUW local, state, regional, and national boards, committees, and panels.

Educational opportunities.

AAUW offers educational programs that promote gender, race, and class equity and help you develop your professional and personal skills. Programs are offered at conventions, in interactive workshops, in print, and online.

Who Can Join?

If you hold an associate or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you are eligible to join AAUW. If you are an undergraduate in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution, or graduate student, you can join as a student affiliate.

Dues

Yearly dues
Yearly dues (July 1, 2016–June 30, 2017 which can be paid anytime after March 15) are $67, divided as follows: $49 to Association, $10 to AAUW-Missouri and $8 to the Columbia, MO Branch.

Life membership in the Association
Life membership is $900.00, or 20 times the Association dues. A member who has paid Association dues for 50 years shall become a 50-year Honorary Life Member and shall thereafter be exempt from the payment of dues.

Checks should be made out to “AAUW Columbia Branch.”

According to  the IRS $46 of AAUW National individual membership dues are tax deductible.  MO State and Columbia Branch dues are not tax deductible.
